One or two well-behaved dogs are welcome. No smoking inside the house.

Laugharne is a quiet, picturesque and unspoiled estuary town, in breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. There is a uniquely friendly community atmosphere, which makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive.

It is famous as the location that inspired Dylan Thomas in much of his writing, including “Under Milk Wood” which was based on the town and its people - as soon as you feel the Laugharne atmosphere, you’ll understand why. Browns Hotel, Dylan’s favourite drinking haunt, and the nearby Cors Restaurant have both been voted by national newspapers in the top five of places to visit, and there are a number of other excellent pubs and restaurants, all just a short walk away.
